Ayurvedic medicine acts slowly !
according to classical ayurvedic text- any ayurvedic medicine shows effect on any type of disease within 7 days of starting the medicine. if there is no response, there might be a fault of the practitioner either in chosing the medicine or manier time diagnosis may be not correct.
some times an ayurvedic physiscian ask that this treatment will have to be taken for several months together.
Here say the example of DM - any allopathic medicine cannot cure any type of DM. instead they ask the patient to take medicine life long ( appox. 40 yrs of remaining life) and contrary to that an ayurvedic panchkarma physician ask to come for 3 consecutive years ( 15 days /year) for complete cure of DM.
Is this what u say ayurvedic medicine take long time to cure?
Let me state another example of fever - ayurvedic medicine are potent enough to bring down any grade of fever with its one dose, of course ayurvedic doctors dont label this comming down of fever as complete cure.
