the description in charak samhita is in "discussion method" mostly.
that is why when one reads, it seems that the writer is not sticking to the original context. but when the conversation is analysed , it becomes easy to identify that it was necessary to introduce that new topic to completely understand the idea.
instead of giving definate numbers charak samhita maily give definate "principles". these are very difficult to understand by a common man and even at times to a qaulified person. i at my level best will try to give the easy understanding of the text.
